Tour to Pilsen Brewery

Pilsen is the fourth biggest city in the Czech Republic, well-known all over the world mainly for his unique, delicious brewery producing Pilsner Urquell lager beerfrom 19th century. Pilsen’s history dates back to the 13th century. During the period of time Pilsen got wonderful buildings which worth to visit. The Pilsen sightseeing tour is mainly focused on the brewery visitation, which has two parts:

• Firstly, the qualified guide shows you the brewery plant and explains the technique of making lager beer.
• Secondly, comes the history part, where the visitors learn the historical background and visit the historical museum.

At the end of excursion all visitors over 18 years have the possibility to taste couple beer samples.

After it all the visitors are moved to the downtown of Pilsen city to see the historical sight, which is gothic cathedral of Saint Bartholomew from the 13th century, surrounded by fountains at the Republic square. Visitors can admire the wonderful view at the countryside from the 102metres tall church tower, tallest in the Czech Republic.  All is professionally guided. Then the visitors get an hour of leisure time to go eating or make some shopping (only if there is a will to do so).
